These are both for the New York Anime Festival Mascot Contest '10 over on TheOtaku.
The theme's being 'Halloween'...'New York'...and 'Anime'
The first entry is a Lucky Cat holding a apple jack o' lantern
and the second is a Startled Cafe Maid with a devil/demon tail and horns, and a pumpkin with the new york skyline in the background.
